It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving, but like morning light it scattered the night and made the day worth living.

Beautiful weather has finally started in Canterbury. I’m unfortunately inside with a bad bout of tonsillitis, but listening to songs like this are a suitable replacement to being outside.
A few days ago, my brother gave me Dry The River’s new album. Potentially up there with Ben Howard as my favourite album of the year.

We also went all cultural at The Tate Modern, and all geeky at The Natural History Museum, yesterday. It was really fun. Here are some pictures from The Tate; my favourite is the top picture, of which I can’t remember the name or photographer, but all photos are joined by the colour ‘Red’- the colour which represented the Soviet Union.
Yesterday, I went to go and see Ben Howard with my brother. It was intense, awesome, euphoric, atmospheric, exciting, goosebump-inducing, awe-inspiring. Something I will most definitely never forget. Came to the conclusion I would quite happily follow his tour around the country, were I not poor.
Today, I heard this song by 65daysofstatic. It pretty much encompasses everything, It’s chilled but kinda intense, happy but kinda angry, too. Overall, a pretty awesome song. Today is also the first bit of warmth Canterbury has seen for ages, so everyone is happy..let the good times roll!
